The Opportunity

The Home Appliances (HA) Demand Planner is a supply chain role which is primarily responsible for the forecasting process within the PSI processing model.

It is an integral role which works closely with sales (National Account Managers), retail key accounts, operations, logistics, product and other partners to gain consensus and establish accurate account level sales forecasts

The Demand Planner will be responsible for demand planning through trend analysis, gap analysis, analysis of historical sales performance, inventory levels, promotional plans and market intelligence all to be presented in a compelling manner.

Role and Responsibilities

Managing the purchasing orders and optimize revenue based on stock availability and sales forecast.- Managing the purchasing orders and optimize revenue based on stock availability and sales forecast
- Responsible for account level forecast and collaborative planning forecast with Purchase Sales Inventory (PSI) Analysis
- Attend the weekly supply meetings with inventory analysts, customer and National Account Manager (Review of Purchase Order Submission, order forecast, product transition and account issues etc.)
- Where necessary attend weekly planning meeting with the Buyer and National Account Manager
- Report forecasting / inventory issues and gaps to account managers and perform root cause analysis for resolution
- Coordinate forecast with PM's and outbound SCM coordinator based on channel inventory, order status, and SOH outlook
- Monitoring and generate sales report analysing and incorporating pending orders, account feedback and future sales opportunities
- Weekly and daily Supply Chain Management reporting in support of leadership and internal stakeholders

To be successful for the role, you should have a "can do" attitude with a proactive approach. Relevant experience / skills include:

- Ideally 2-3 years of demand analysis / forecasting / supply chain operation experience
- 2-3 years of Sales Experience ideally in a FMCG/Consumer Electronics environment while open to different industries- Strong Excel skillset with a data analytical capability- Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment- High level of business acumen with a strong ability to communicate effectively across all levels of business

Skills and Qualifications
- Has substantial understanding on the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks
- Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations
- Normally receives little instruction on everyday work and general instructions on newly introduced assignments
- Typically requires a minimum 3 years of related experience since TB1
