**The role**

Okta has a significant opportunity in the Strategic Accounts space. Join us and be part of the team establishing Okta as the key Identity Platform within Australia’s largest organisations

Our Strategic Account Executive will drive the sales process within the Strategic Account territory and continually ensure territory growth and profitability by developing solid business relationships with new and existing Strategic clients for Okta.

You will continually ensure assigned territory growth and profitability by developing solid business relationships with Strategic Accounts for Okta. You will develop and execute strategies and sales tactics in the following areas: territory planning, pre-request for proposal prospecting, relationship development, pricing, presentation and delivery, negotiations, closing and managing contracts.

Success in this role will see you organising and conducting sales presentations, site visits and product demonstrations to prospective clients and representing Okta in a consistent, effective and professional manner to grow existing and develop new Strategic Accounts. You will need to foster ongoing mutually beneficial relationships with consultants and partners and maintain a solid knowledge of Okta’s business value. It is important that you exercise influence, demonstrate results-oriented sales planning, and work in a positive and motivating way with internal counterparts and external clients.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive Strategic Account plan
- Meet or exceed quarterly and yearly revenue targets
- Accelerate customer adoption
- Continually Build and Grow a robust sales pipeline
- Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
- Drive contract negotiations
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key Strategic accounts
- Ensure customer success and satisfaction.
- Become known as an innovator with Okta’s platform within the FSI & Transport territory segment
- Build effective working partnerships with your Okta colleagues (channel partners, solutions engineering, business value management, customer first and many more globally) with humility and enthusiasm.

**Required Skills**:

- Demonstrated enterprise sales experience working for a technology vendor selling Enterprise solutions to Strategic Accounts - preferably within the FSI and/or Transport industries
- Experience selling B2B SaaS software solutions
- Proven track record of successfully closing six-seven figure software cloud deals with prospects and customers in the defined territory.
- Effective territory development mentality
- Extensive customer network
- Experience in the “C” suite, strong executive presence and polish, and excellent listening skills. Previous experience utilising partners, channels, and alliances to sell more successfully and overachieve your quota.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong leadership skills
- BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent
