Tele-fundraiser

Disability Sport & Recreation (DSR) are seeking friendly and motivated individuals with customer service experience to join our fun Tele Fundraising team on a casual basis. Previous experience is essential.

DSR was founded in 1962 and is the proud birthplace of the Victorian Paralympic movement, since then we have gone on to support thousands of Victorians lead healthy and active lifestyles. We’re also incredibly proud to have DSR members representing Australia at the Paralympic Games currently taking place in Paris.

We fundraise for a variety of campaigns and programs which support Victorians of all ages living with disability, including our popular DSR Kids camps and Victorian Wheelchair Rugby League.

Location: Fitzroy, Victoria - close to public transport and the Smith Street precinct.

Hours: Up to 30 hours per week for the right person.

Pay:

- $33.96 PH + Superannuation

DUTIES:

- Outbound calling to raise funds to support a range of DSR programs
- Passionate delivery of fundraising scripts/key messages to promote genuine conversations about funding for DSR programs
- Consistent achievement of individual and team based results supported through ongoing coaching & development programs
- Proactively work with your team leader to achieve target KPI’s and provide feedback on the campaigns you’re working on

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Sales/ customer service skills will be highly regarded
- Confident phone manner, capable of articulating clear campaign messaging for the purpose of winning donation support.
- Resilient and persistent with a goal oriented drive.
- Great work ethic, self-motivated and team oriented.
- Have a great attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Assist and support the Fundraising Manager & Team Leader with extra admin and management duties as directed and required.
- Intermediate computer skills with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel & Power-point.
