Our client has been in business for 15 years in WA and internationally since 1979. They have a globally dispersed team and are committed to providing the best quality, time-efficient service, with competitively priced products to customers globally. They are seeking a **Business Development Manager** to join their small team in **Belmont**.

Our client is keen to finding a BDM/Sales Manager with connections in the Australian Oil & Gas market with the longer-term prospect of moving their Australian business into the Mining, Power, Energy and Infrastructure markets.

Internationally the company currently does business globally across Oil & Gas (refineries and processing plants), petrochemical plants, major infrastructure, tunnels, offshore and onshore wind farms.

Our client leads in technology and product development with a wide product range including **nuts and bolts**, as well as Hydraulic Bolt Tensioning and Torquing Tools and Services. They are looking for a Business Development/Account Manager to set up the business as the preferred service provider with clients, building relationships and supporting the internal team.

**About the Opportunity**
As the BDM, you will be reporting to the CEO in Singapore and working with a small team in Perth. Your mission is to bring in new business, grow the current sales and establish a client base in Western Australia.

There is an opportunity to expand the customer portfolio across Australia. You will be responsible for developing and growing customer relationships, supporting the development of the business and being at the forefront of the oil and gas opportunities within Australia. This position offers potential for individuals who have an interest in strategy, yet prefer a hands-on approach and enjoy working as part of a smaller team.

**About You**
You have hands-on BDM/Sales /Account management experience, with an understanding of the **oil and gas industry and its processes**. You will enjoy being a hunter on the ground coupled with the opportunity to stay close to your clients and ensure their needs are met even after the deal is closed. Furthermore, you possess an interest in the workings of the business and derive satisfaction from providing inputs and sharing ideas with senior management.

It would be advantageous if you have previous experience in mechanical aspects related to **refinery and offshore facility maintenance** especially across products such as **nuts and bolts** or **pipe line valves. **Your grasp of supply chain management in the industry is commendable. You are someone who can quickly adapt and take initiative, and thrives on being self-motivated.
