**The Opportunity**:
Our Head of Compensation & Benefits plays a pivotal role in ensuring Veolia can attract, retain and motivate top talent through effective compensation and benefits strategies. The role is responsible for the design and implementation of organisation-wide salary grading and benchmarking, variable pay (bonus) campaigns, benefit offerings, people metrics, reporting and analytics. Working closely with the wider HR teams and lines of business the role ensures process, systems and procedural governance and improvements are implemented and maintained across all areas.

Working with the General Manager HR Governance & Rewards, as Head of Compensation & Benefits, you will be responsible for continuing to design, define and co-ordinate the Veolia compensation and benefits strategy to support Veolia’s overall business objectives.

- Lead a high performing Compensation and Benefits team of three
- 12 month fixed term contract (parental leave)
- Hybrid - 3 days in office and 2 days from home

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- deliver and provide expertise on the annual compensation review and variable pay processes, strategy and systems
- provide guidance and support to the HR Business community and hiring managers on compensation related matters, job grading and job families, salary benchmarking, advice and analysis services
- manage Veolia’s benefits programs including superannuation, share plans, novated leases, insurances, health and wellbeing initiatives and other employee offerings
- manage and ensure the timely completion and improvement of all people reporting and provide the business with data analytics for proactive decision making
- partner with the HRIS team, ensuring audit and governance processes are implemented to manage data and maintain integrity of the information contained within the HRIS (SuccessFactors)
- Investigate gender pay gaps post WGEA reporting and work with the HR Business Partnering team to identify trends and address gaps
- Initiate and coordinate company-wide roll-out of key projects or initiatives relating to compensation and benefits

**What you'll need to be successful**:

- Tertiary qualified, ideally in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or other related area
- Preferred extensive knowledge and understanding of Success Factors (SF) modules
- Depth and experience across all technical areas of compensation and benefits
- With excellent communication and interpersonal skills you need to have demonstrated leadership abilities in building and developing high-performing teams and driving results as well as hold a high level of integrity and discretion.
