**The Role**

You will have a thorough understanding of the issues surrounding, and the management of, unexploded ordnance. You will be flexible, outcome-focused and have strong analytical skills. **About our Team**
The Directorate of Contamination Assessment, Remediation and Management (DCARM) bring expertise in contamination management to enable military capability, estate management, community safety and responsible land management.

DCARM investigates, remediates and manages risks to the environment and human health from legacy contaminated sites. It also investigates and discloses details of contamination in property transactions and maintains public access to information about contamination on the Defence estate.

We are looking for high performing, experienced Estate Environmental professional to be a part of our small but dynamic team. We are a well skilled and diverse team dedicated to continuous improvement. Collectively we rely on each other’s knowledge and strengths to achieve results.

- Able to demonstrate explosive ordnance knowledge and provide advice and recommendations on the management principles, techniques, methods and regulations in this space;
- Able to assess technical and design packages including scoping, planning, reviewing, providing recommendations and contributing to the implementation of actions;
- Able to identify issues and uncertainties and take these into account in planning, decision making and priority setting;
- Highly developed in analytical and critical thinking skills to explore and develop options for senior management consideration;
- Personally driven to resolve problems with pragmatic solutions and thrive in a dynamic fast paced environment;
- Able to foster productive relationships
