**The Role**:
In this 3-year contract as Storm Water Investigations Analyst, you will report to the Manager, Flood Strategy and Stormwater Policy and you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference and add to our work environment, within a place where you can learn and perform to your fullest potential. This will be achieved through:
**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Demonstrated expert proficiency, knowledge, practical experience and leadership relating to stormwater management and improvement, such as water sensitive urban design and integrated urban water management
- Strong understanding of catchment wide planning through to the modelling, design and operation of stormwater assets and the ability to inform robust catchment investigations.
- Outstanding analytical skills and an ability to aggressively pursue agreed objectives and use sound problem solving skills to overcome obstacles
- Knowledge and understanding (theoretical and practical) of industry issues, relevant research and best practice and the ability to align activities to current policy, regulation and standards.
- Strong customer focus with well-developed communication, influencing and negotiating skills and the ability to build strong relationships and gain the confidence of stakeholders and partners.

You’re understanding of water treatment processes and infrastructure and stormwater management within planning policy framework is highly regarded alongside your tertiary qualification in engineering or science is essential, with direct technical experience in water sensitive urban design or integrated water management or process engineering/design.
