As an Account Manager for Industrial and Engineering Software, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and establishing our client as the preferred software partner in the Australian market.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify, engage, and nurture relationships with key clients and contribute to expanding the customer base, meeting sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive business growth and achieve sales objectives, focusing on industrial and engineering software solutions.
- Identify and engage potential clients, including industrial manufacturers, engineering firms, and infrastructure companies, to build strong business relationships.
- Understand client needs, challenges, and pain points, and provide tailored software solutions to address their specific requirements.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and contract closure, ensuring accurate sales forecasting and reporting.
- Foster strong customer relationships by providing exceptional support and service throughout the sales process and post-sales.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Represent our client at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Develop and maintain a network of key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and support, to ensure customer success and satisfaction.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in sales and account management within the industrial or engineering software industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent knowledge of the market and key industries, including manufacturing, engineering, and infrastructure.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and influencing skills to drive successful sales outcomes.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and occasionally internationally as required.
