Manager, Client Management

As the Manager, Client Management you will manage a team of professionals responsible for managing and overseeing a component of QRIDA loan portfolio represented by distressed, complex, at-risk and out-of-policy account holders. Duties include conducting annual and ad-hoc reviews for the more complex and at-risk loan cases, ensuring adequate security arrangements are in place, undertaking repayment renegotiations, and managing of account arrears. Where there is a potential for loans to be at risk of loss, the position may also be responsible for the instigation of farm debt mediation proceedings, formal recovery action, asset sales and client counselling.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Conduct on-farm visits to QRIDA distressed loan account holders to negotiate repayment and work-out strategies.
- Manage the transition of existing QRIDA loan account holders to other financiers where scheme policy objectives are no longer being met.
- Provide assistance to the Senior Manager and Managers of Regional Delivery Teams within the Qld Regional Program Delivery unit in exercising their responsibilities in managing the QRIDA loan portfolio.

The Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) is a specialist provider of government financial and advisory support to rural and regional Queensland.
As a statutory body of the Queensland Government we have been helping primary producers and industry recover from natural disaster, improve sustainability and profitability, make a start in business, and overcome difficult conditions, for more than 20 years.
As the Queensland Government's experts in rural finance, we also administer the State Government's Farm Business Debt Mediation program, the Farm Debt Reconstruction Office, conduct a biennial Rural Debt Survey, undertake research and provide advice to the Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries and Minister for Rural Communities.
QRIDA is empowered under the Rural and Regional Adjustment Act 1994 to deliver additional programs and services across a range of industry sectors and to local, state and territory governments throughout Australia and for the Australian Government.
