Popular, well established and highly respected, Home Road Kindergarten in Newport is looking for a Diploma or Certificate III educator to work with one 3 year old and one 4 year old group for the remainder of 2023. Conditions and rate of pay are determined by the Victorian Early Childhood Teachers and Educators Agreement 2020. Home Road Kindergarten offers an Employee Assistance Program, staff wellbeing initiatives and provides ongoing professional development opportunities. This permanent part-time position is 26.25 hours per week, across Tue/Wed/Fri with flexible scheduling of planning time. Immediate start date. This role may appeal to recently graduated teachers, with the possibility of a parental leave teaching position available for 2024.**Qualifications**
- Having dedication, initiative, a love of learning and excellent communication skills, the Kindergarten educator applicants MUST also meet the following criteria:

- minimum Certificate III or equivalent (ACECQA approved)
- Possess a working knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law Act and Regulations, The National Quality Standards, Child Safe Standards and the Victoria Early Years Learning and Development Framework
- Hold a current Working with Children Check, valid Police Check and current First Aid Certificate with CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training.
- Experience working with children with disabilities and neurological differences viewed favourably.
- Sessional Kindergarten experience viewed favourably.
- Experience with a Quality Improvement Plan and Reconciliation Action Plan is valued.
