We are looking for an **IT Infrastructure Manager** to join our IT Team. Reporting to the National IT Manager this ‘hands on’ role will be responsible for managing a team, provide support, and operations to ensure the stable function of Haymes Paint’s IT infrastructure. You will also play a key role in delivering business improvement projects across the business.

**About the role**:

- Proactively manage IT infrastructure to maintain optimal availability, reliability, capacity, performance, and uptime.
- Plan and implement IT Service Management processes, software, and tools to optimise IT service delivery and reduce costs
- Set and ensure appropriate policy, processes and procedures are documented and adhered to.
- Provide infrastructure performance statistics and reports, develop strategies for maintaining infrastructure.
- Define hardware and software requirements in conjunction with owners and stakeholders.
- Lead and participate in projects as required, ensure project management methodologies are adhered to, and projects are delivered as scoped, within timeline and on budget.
- Ensure the Haymes IT environment is secure
- Provide technical direction and assistance to staff in the resolution of technical issues
- Successful resolution of IT Requests, and BAU Change Requests
- Mentor, coach, support, motivate and engage the infrastructure team to be high performers.

**About you**:

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
- 5+ years’ experience in managing IT infrastructure and support
- Solid, hands on, experience in IT infrastructure technologies, including cloud (Microsoft), network architecture, server hardware and software, storage systems, backup, and virtualisation technologies
- Experience in working effectively with senior IT and business leaders, and managing customer relationships
- Sound ability to identify, troubleshoot, diagnose, escalate and resolve issues in the shortest time frame
- Experience building and maturing the operational management function (including service, change, capacity, demand, problem, and incident) using ITIL as a foundation
- Strong leadership, mentoring and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
