Due to continued company development, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trade Qualified (Mechanical or Electrical) Technician in their Wangara facility. Tasked with assisting in preventative maintenance, repairs and optimization of injection molding, packaging, palletizing and filling production equipment.

**Key responsibilities.**
- Assisting with the preventative maintenance, repairs, and optimization of equipment such as Injection Molding, packaging, palletizing and filling.
- Identifying efficiencies and cost reduction opportunities.
- Overseeing all capital and improvement projects on Injection Molders.
- Analyzing, optimizing, developing and implementing procedures for product commissioning, resin trials and mold changeovers.
- Lead Injection Molder overhauls, following comprehensive Diagnostic Audits.
- Maintaining HACCP and GMP requirements.

**What you'll need**
- Unrestricted Australian working rights (must have full/permanent Australian working rights)
- Previous experience with Molding within the PET and HDPE. plastics industry for preforms and/or cap manufacturing.
- Qualification in either electrical or mechanical fitting.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in production within Food and FMCG environment.
- Extensive experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, and resin processing.
- Computer literacy, with well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Current drivers licence.
