We are searching for a planning superstar to join our team as a** Supply and Demand Planner. **In this role, you will ensure Customer and Market demand is captured accurately and communicated to support the Sales & Operations Planning processes, as well as ensuring that optimal inventory levels are in place to support Customer demand.

**As a Supply and Demand Planner you will**:

- Utilize the statistical forecasting tool to capture customer demand and market intelligence.
- Ensure an accurate, complete, and up to date forecast at the national level.
- Working with Marketing and the Customer Team, through regularly scheduled Forecast Alignment meetings, to maintain alignment between sales forecasts and budgetary targets.
- Communicate forecast accuracy reports including root cause analysis and actions to address.
- Lead Supply Chain Collaboration workstreams.
- Lead Initiative Supply Chain Execution for Key Initiatives from Kick-off to Close Out, including supporting reviews.
- Work with the Central Planning team to ensure the build plans meet requirements to achieve optimal inventory to meet our business plans.
- Own the Phase in Phase out Process and Communication.
- Ensure all Central Planning deadlines are met regarding Demand and Supply deadlines.
- Communicate monthly & weekly product availability and any significant issues constraining Supply of inventory to the organization.

**You will Bring to the role**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in planning (demand and supply) within an FMCG environment.
- Strong analytical, numeracy and planning skills.
- Experience in using a statistical forecasting tool with a high level of proficiency.
- Strong MS Excel skills, Intermediate Power BI skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication & relationship building skills across multiple levels and functions.
- Team Player with a strong Customer Service mindset.
- Disciplined & methodical with an ability to work to a fast pace and tight deadlines in peak periods.
- Experience in working within an established Sales & Operations Planning process.

Desirable
- Planning experience in a seasonal, importing environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an operations related discipline.
