**Who are we looking for?**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Allied Health Assistant committed to making a difference in the lives of autistic children.

This centre-based role is based at AnglicareSA Autism Specific Early Learning Child Care Centre (ASELCC), which provides integrated early intervention, education and therapy to children up to the age of 6 years within a specialised childcare setting. If you thrive working within a unique, vibrant and energetic environments this role is for you.

This is an incredible opportunity for **4th year students** studying **Occupational Therapy** and **Speech Pathology** to gain employment as an Allied Health Assistant, while completing the degree. You will have the opportunity to work under guidance of our qualified therapists to assist you to gain the skills and abilities needed to **obtain employment as qualified therapist with us**

**What can you expect to be doing?**:

- Deliver efficient and effective therapy to children living with a disability under the guidance of qualified therapist
- Implement group based therapy programs for children with ASD.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-Disciplinary team and early childhood educators
- Contributing to the innovation and growth of services to enable children and young people to live their lives to the fullest
- Contribute to projects and service improvements working collaboratively with the wider team

**What do you need to bring?**:

- Enrolled and actively work towards Allied Health degree such as Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Disability studies OR Certificate 3 or higher in a relevant field such as, Allied Health Assistance, Early Childhood Education, Child youth and family intervention,
- Demonstrated knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively, independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
