**Remuneration**: AHP1 ($67,466 - $82,359 p.a. + 11% Super) / AHP2 ($86,950 - $100,729 p.a. + 11% Super)

The Department for Child Protection is seeking an **Aboriginal Case Manager** to join the Elizabeth office on a full-time term basis.

The role is responsible for:

- Providing a high quality and effective case management service to respond to the needs of children and their families in a timely manner and within statutory guidelines.
- Enable and support children to participate in various programmes and activities which encourage growth and development.
- Assessing needs of children and families, and planning and delivering focused intervention to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
- Undertaking complex child protection investigations and assessments, assessing the needs of children and families.

**About You**

We are looking for a confidential individual with experience working with Aboriginal children, families and communities to improve outcomes for children and young people at risk.

You will have the ability to identify and respond to needs and risks to safety, wellbeing and development of children and young people.

**Special Conditions**:
**Essential Qualifications**: A degree level qualification in Social Work which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers; or Appropriate degree qualification in Community Services, Social Sciences, Human Services, Health or related field.
