**About the opportunity
At Woolworths, we believe in putting our customers and team first. The Risk Analyst role sits within the ‘Risk and Controls Chapter’ in the Group Risk Platform.

Reporting to the Capability Lead - Risk this role will contribute to the Risk ambition to enable Woolworths to be **confident today, and ready for tomorrow **. You will do this by supporting the development of capabilities and best practices while contributing to the delivery of outcomes within an assigned squad in the Group Risk Enablement Tribe. This could include:

- Reimagining how we do third party risk;
- Providing contemporary and commercial risk advisory support; orProviding leaders with a single view of risk through integrated risk technology solutions.

**What you’ll do
- Actively contribute your expertise to dynamic squad meetings, shaping risk strategies and solutions across the Woolworths Group.
- Produce in-depth risk assessments, identify potential threats, and implement proactive measures to protect Woolworths' interests.
- Contribute to the development of enduring risk management capabilities, ensuring Woolworths remains resilient and adaptable in an ever-changing environment.Manage relationships with stakeholders, keeping them informed and engaged.

**What you’ll bring
- A solid understanding of risk management principles and best practices across a broad spectrum of risks.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions to support risk assessments.
- A drive to problem solve and address challenges head-on.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex risk information to diverse audiences.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to create a positive and supportive team environment.
- Ability to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- You're curious and enjoy agile ways of working.Prior experience in any of the following areas is desirable: third party risk management, embedding GRC systems, assessing strategic or emerging risk.
