We have an exciting new opportunity for a vibrant bar professional to join our team as a Casual Bar Attendant.

As a Bar Attendant - Spice Central Kitchen & Bar you will create memorable and unique experiences for the customers visiting the bar while mixing and shaking your best drinks and cocktail recipes that will delight our guests.

**Job Description**:
In this role you will:

- Animate the bar to make it a fun, unique and enjoyable experience for all guests through creative activations, events and creating unique cocktail recipes.
- Use your knowledge and passion in mixology to create unique, new and innovative recipes and cocktail menu
- Deliver personalised service with passion and professionalism, constantly striving to maintain and exceed our guests’ expectations and Heartist Service philosophy
- Control the beverage stock and carry out regular stock takes.
- Familiarize yourself with VIP and regular guests to ensure their requests and needs are met.
- Ensure all mis-en-place is completed prior to guests arriving.
- Be knowledgeable of and operate within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.

**Qualifications**:
What we are looking for?
- Wide knowledge and experience in mixology and confidence in creative new cocktail recipes
- Proven experience in similar roles within busy environments
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Can go out of their way to create memorable experiences for our guests
- Aware of Brisbane surrounds and in particular South Brisbane and can recommend great things to see and do for our guests
- A high standard of grooming and presentation
- Availability on weekends and flexibility regarding your work availability is essential, as we operate 7 days a week, including public holidays
