**_About the Role_**

The Manager Facilities and Assets is responsible for planning and managing the delivery of minor capital works programs in consultation with key stakeholders across the NSW Electoral Commission. They are also responsible for building maintenance and reception services.

The role is responsible for the fixed asset register, supplying data to the financial accounts and annual report. The role ensures key systems in relation to physical assets are administered for the NSW Electoral Commission and forms the basis for due diligence in asset management.

The role is responsible for sourcing and operationalising short term office leases for major election events as well as managing and reporting on climate risk assessment and performance measures.

The role is an Ongoing position.

**Essential requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in project management and managing office relocations and major asset transformations
- Experience with procurement and contract management
- Experience leading and coaching staff
- Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners
- Satisfactory criminal record check result

This role is based in at our Elizabeth Street, Sydney office with a hybrid work arrangement.

**The NSW Electoral Commission requires all workers to be vaccinated for COVID-19. You must have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination by the commencement of your engagement or prior to first attending at a NSWEC location. You must produce evidence of your vaccination status for inspection when you attend for work. You may also be required to provide evidence of booster vaccine doses, in due course, and any such arrangements will be notified to you separately.
