**About the role**

The Project Officer performs project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives.

At NESA we are presently focused on an exciting, transformational program of curriculum reform, and this role is a great opportunity to support the work of passionate educators.

This is an interesting and challenging role managing upwards of 20 concurrent projects. We are looking for someone with excellent relationship skills to navigate cross curriculum relationships, and to quickly learn the size and scope of the curriculum reform program, alongside of managing regular change and slippage against publicly announced timelines.

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:

- providing a range of project management and supporting activities as well as maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans.
- communicating with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans
- adopting a risk management approach by identifying unexpected emerging issues through the risk management framework.
- undertaking research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs, to support informed decision-making and planning
