As a trusted technology and services partner for businesses involved in all stages of property and asset life cycles, this iconic Tech business enjoys a rich history of innovation and customer-centric technology trusted by businesses all over the world.

With business continuing to flourish in 2023, this iconic organisation is looking to appoint a Senior Product Leader to be responsible for the product strategy and commercialisation of the entire Australian product suite.

Overseeing a team of 17, this pivotal role will collaborate with global colleagues to align product strategies and work with local functional teams to successfully execute on product roadmaps to support revenue growth and retention and build a high performing product management team by implementing best practices in product portfolio management and product lifecycle planning and execution.

**Key focus of role**:

- Build a high performing product commercialization team, ensuring a high degree of collaboration, best practice sharing and a commitment to delivering superior products, features and functionality to our customers
- Develop the vertical and product consolidation strategy, as well as 3-year roadmaps for all products and KPIs to measure and monitor the effectiveness of the strategies
- Ensure local product roadmaps and investment are aligned with global product strategies, collaborating and working closely with product leaders from other jurisdictions
- Work closely with the sales leader to develop a pricing strategy to drive market leadership position
- Lead the product management team, ensuring the highest levels of customer and employee engagement and strong partner and reseller relationships
- Develop long term plans for Product Integration and data migration and lead the migration of customers from legacy to new products.
- Ensure the development of short, medium and long-range solutions architecture plans, ensuring our market leadership position well into the future and providing opportunities for growth
- Lead the adoption of pragmatic best practices for product lifecycle management
- Direct market and customer research and analysis to support decision making and modelling of the chosen strategies.
- Ensure feedback from sales, operations, customer service and technology are incorporated into product roadmaps

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Work closely and in collaboration with the software engineering leader to ensure product centric and lead SDLC processes, leveraging best practices to maximize resource utilization and ensure alignment,
- Lead the identification of process and product improvements within our current product portfolio
- Build bench strength to manage third parties, resellers, and suppliers.
- Facilitate the commercialisation of the product portfolio strategy and roadmap for digital platforms, and ensure successful execution of the strategy and roadmap
- Inputs into the strategy and roadmap will include horizon scanning, competitive landscape analysis, technology trends, functional feedback, customer engagement, etc
- Ensure the optimal use of resources in building and maintaining the right products which will support the growth targets of the company
- Promote effective prioritisation of product initiatives through analysis, preparation and presentation of business cases for approval, sizing potential opportunities and forecasting future benefits
- Assess and formulate pricing propositions and strategies to drive business value and improved customer retention
- Supporting clients to assess the market potential for new products
- Collating, integrating, structuring, and critically assessing information from multiple sources
- Using strategic tools to develop suitable commercialisation strategies and action plans
- Monitor performance of digital products against commercial KPIs and ensure appropriate iteration of products, in line with agreed investment levels, to optimise this performance
