**About the role - **Holy Spirit School is seeking a full-time Finance Officer. Under the direction of the Principal, you will coordinate financial administration activities and provide support to ensure the school delivers on key reporting deadlines.
Duties include:

- Reconciliation of accounts
- Cashier and banking duties
- Data entry, timesheets, and report preparation
- Issuing invoices and school fees
- Managing external contractors
- Project financial support
- Budgeting and auditing requirements and
- Other general administrative office duties as assigned.

**About you - **Previous experience in an accounts or finance role is a requirement. You will demonstrate initiative, attention to detail and be a skillful negotiator who is able to liaise with the school’s clients and parents with empathy, demonstrating emotional intelligence. We seek an applicant who is a team player, who works positively with a friendly, caring personality.

Additionally, you will be highly organised and be able to demonstrate sound judgement, confidentiality, and discretion. Experience with Microsoft D365 and Office, particularly Excel is desirable.

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
