Pacific's Logistics Operations Team is responsible for delivering tailored supply chain services to all Nike internal and external customers. Our Vision is to create a Digital-First Supply Chain at scale through phased investments within our strategic operating model, that ensures we keep pace with the consumer. An integral member of the logistics operations team, this role will provide visibility around cost, performance, and process, to execute pro-active customer centric solutions.

This role plays an integral part in sourcing and delivering customer centric solutions within our growing logistics operations space - we are looking for someone to support and drive this growth.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Working within the Transport Operations team, your role will plan distribution requirements at our Australian DC's in Altona and Campbellfield, ensuring the effective execution of our final mile customer delivery.
Your role will play a primary role in executing the transport network across Australia, through our network of Third-Party Logistics (3PL) service providers and contractors. Your ability to participate in discussions and provide support / clarity to the operational teams will be paramount, ensuring that alignment to customer expectation is the primary objective of our transport teams.
In line with chain of responsibility (CoR), you will be an advocate for safety within the workplace, ensuring that Nike obligations and expectations towards CoR are met and executed. You will play a key role in managing our expectations with our 3PL's in this space.
As a key point of contact for our transport operations team within AU, you will influence through clear direction, and appraise performance accordingly. Your ability to provide clarity in terms of priorities is a key attribute when managing the operational considerations present within our transport network.
You will participate in operational review meetings and provide insights into network capability reviews, in determining the right fit partners for our logístical requirements.
With a consumer centric mindset, and the mentality around serving athletes*, you will manage queries as raised by the wider Nike Pacific teams, and source solutions for these through succinct communication with our transport network. You will use analytics and data to drive performance and where needed, accountability with our service partners. You are comfortable delivering difficult messages, but importantly, will also provide positive enforcement when duties are carried out well.
