- UGL are seeking interest from E&I Superintendent's to join the Fuels & Energy Business. As part of the portfolio, this position will be working on a secured contract with a major oil and gas operator onsite in Kwinana, WA.

**About the role**
- The E&I Superintendent** **is a key role to the Projects Team and responsible for the direction and control of all construction activities on projects to ensure the achievement of the Company’s profit objectives whilst adhering to highest safety standard set by the business and client.
- You will have experience interfacing with engineering, procurement, commercial, quality, material handling and expediting logistic functions to ensure construction activities can take place immediately once on site.

**About you**
- To be considered for the role the following qualifications will be highly regarded:

- 10 years’ experience with a minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience (e.g. Foreman, Supervisor, Leading Hand) working on construction / maintenance projects or similar
- Proven experience in leading a team and managing Subcontractors
- Experience in formulating and reviewing policies and procedures to identify improvement opportunities
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written with a demonstrated ability to discuss a wide range of issues to people across all levels of the organisation
- Demonstrated ability to participate in and contribute to accident/incident investigations, risk assessments and hazard and injury management processes
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
- Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel
