The Opportunity?_**

As the result of current work scope demands, **SIMPEC **has long-term opportunities for an experienced **Instrumentation Supervisor **to join our growing team.** **Reporting to the **Instrumentation Superintendent **and** **working locally at the **Kwinana Waste to Energy (KWTE) Project**, this position will work an ongoing **Monday to Friday, 50-hour work week.**

The Responsibilities?_**
- Provide visual supervision and leadership of the Instrumentation team across site; this will include instrumentation technicians, electricians and TA’s.
- Coordinate the installation and commissioning of instruments in the field.
- Always lead by example with respect to health and safety on site; promote, contribute, and comply with all site safety initiatives and procedures, and embrace the **SIMPEC SIMSafe** culture framework.
- Build professional, positive, and productive working relationships with your team, colleagues, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Work and liaise closely with the superintendent and management on a daily basis.
- Scope ad hoc works and advise management around scheduling.
- Coordinate and distribute work scopes to the electrical personnel, ensuring optimal performance and timely execution.
- Review and update weekly required equipment and materials to management.
- Ensure compliance with all legislative and site requirements, policies and procedures.
- Strongly demonstrate and support the **SIMPEC core values.**

About You?_**
- Hold the required Instrumentation qualification, along with significant prior experience in a similar role, ideally on a large construction project, within the resources industry or equivalent.
- Experience in ad hoc scoping and execution
- A strong track record in supervising & leading E&I teams, with the ability to motivate and lead by example, as well as consistently drive successful outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in working to and meeting work scope deliverables, objectives and targets.
- Comfortable being accountable and taking ownership of tasks through to completion, as well as delegating effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interface and discuss technical requirements with relevant stakeholders, as well as influence and negotiate effectively.
- Solid computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite.
- Analytical and innovative, with solid problem-solving skills
- You are adaptable and confident making informed decisions, with ability to think on your feet and outside the box when required.
