Our client are a highly progressive and inclusive specialist law firm, with a renowned collaborative team environment. They are currently seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join their renowned Immigration practice. In return for your hard work will be a flexible working environment that will have you enjoying a true work life balance.

This rare and exciting new opportunity will see you assisting in a range of Immigration matters to ensure the smooth running of their practice. Showcasing your superb communication skills and analytical thinking, the role will be perfect for those wanting to be challenged every day and to learn new aspects of the law. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Drafting documents and correspondence
- Preparing and lodging of legal documents
- Assisting with management and running of files
- Stakeholder management and liaison (both internal and external)
- Diary and calendar management
- Billing
- Reception relief
- Organising visits to Immigration Detention Centres/Prisons
- Administration duties as required

To be successful in securing this position, you are required to hold a minimum of 2 years' previous experience in a Legal Assistant position or similar. Knowledge of Immigration Law is preferred, but not essential. You will have a passion for learning, be proactive in your work and organised. Meticulous attention to detail is a must along with your ability to prioritise your work.
