**About the role - As a dynamic and innovative member of our school community, you will**:

- Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.

At BCE our teachers are required to:

- Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
- Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

**Do I have to be Catholic?**
All BCE teachers must have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education. Our teachers who teach Religious Education are required to be Catholic and attain Accreditation to teach Religion in a Catholic school. If this role does not require you to teach Religious Education, you do not need to be Catholic.

Christ the King Catholic Primary School is located 20km north of Brisbane in the Bayside suburb of Deception Bay. The school has an increasing enrolment trend and currently has 330 students from Prep to Year 6.
CtK offers a quality catholic education, including effective and expected literacy and numeracy practices throughout all year levels, as well as specialist lessons within HPE, Italian, and STEAM. Extra-curricular programs offered include dance, gymnastics, well-being, and swimming.
