**About the Role**

We are currently seeking an Instructional Designer to join our education and training team. Our team is deeply committed to education and programs that drive sustainable employment outcomes. This full-time position is contracted until June 30, 2024, with a strong possibility of extension. As the Instructional Designer, you will report to RTO Manager and be responsible for creating a diverse array of learning and assessment materials for various educational programs within our organization.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Design and maintain interactive and engaging content that integrates instructional design.
- Collaborate closely with the team and other internal stakeholders to understand development requirements and create innovative, quality and cost-effective learning solutions to enhance student engagement.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all team members to drive innovation and implement best practice across all educational programs.
- Actively contribute to the development of learning and assessment content, processes and activities that are aligned to accredited and non-accredited programs.
- Evaluate and continuously improve learning programs in alignment with the needs of various cohorts.
- Maintain awareness of industry best practices to recommend innovative solutions that effectively contribute to learning and assessment that also complies with regulatory standards and guidelines.

- Experience in developing high quality, engaging training materials and resources to suit the needs of diverse cohorts.
- Experience in developing e-learning, and using authoring tools,
- Experience working with learning management systems,
- Experience in developing vocational, language, literacy and numeracy assessment resources.
- Good working knowledge of the ACSF, AQF and Standards for Registered Training Organisations.
- Experience in designing learning and assessment content aligned with adult learning principles.
- Initiative and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent written communication and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
