**About the role**

**What will make you stand out**
- Able to provide consistent, accurate and timely Client billing in line with agreed billing cycles and specific Client billing timetables.
- Regularly review and monitor statistic/unbilled reports, to ensure that all Clients are billed to agreed contractual timelines and aligned to agreed billing processes.
- Provide detailed updates on unbilled media to Agency Commercial and Client Teams in line with agreed timetables.
- Ensure all Client invoicing is despatched directly to the Client as soon as it is billed and aligns to the agreed Client billing dispatch process.
- Where a Client has a specific invoicing platform, work with the Client, Commercial and Client teams to ensure correct access is granted to enable accurate and timely data entry of invoices.
- Manage, where required, Client Purchase Order/Budget Spend reconciliations, reviewing accuracy and quality of data prior to submission to the the Client.
- Ensure all Client reconciliations tie back to the ERP - integrity of the data is essential.
- Attend Client and Agency meetings where required.
- Agree with the Agency, document and maintain a central Client billing rule-book portfolio detailing Client billing requirements and reconciliations processes.
- Coordinate with the applicable Agency and MDM contacts to ensure that the integrity of the Client master data records accurately reflect the agreed contractual terms and processes of the Client.
- Any changes to a Client process on terms and billing address must be accurately reflected in the Client master data record.
- Liaise with the Collection team and the Agency Client team to support the collections function and the resolution of Client queries raised.
- Ensure the Agency is resolving Client queries in a timely manner and escalate non resolution as appropriate.
- Provide support and guidance to the Agency Planning and Buying teams (Client Teams) on all related Client billing requirements.
- Ensuring integrity of the billings function is aligned in accordance with the WPP Internal Control framework and WPP Policies and Procedures.
- Support Internal, External, and Client audits as required by the management team.
- Ad-hoc projects as directed by Senior Management or when required by either Agency or Client teams.
- Preparation and review of regular reporting updates or metric on billing status in advance of meetings.
- Perform any other ad-hoc billing and Client reporting requirements as directed by the Management team.
- Demonstrate and encourage a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration and particulate in regular performance conversations.
- Escalate matters to management as appropriate.
- Support ad hoc and continuous improvement projects driven internally by GBS and/or WPP Group initiative.

**More about you**
- Experience with Spectra SMD & Spectra PF would be highly regarded (but not essential)
- Proven track record working within a billing team and can demonstrate self-motivation and a proactive approach to role ownership.
- Commercially focused with a strong Client service approach, quality control is key.
- Confidence in managing and building relationships both internally and externally.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong Excel experience, preferably to pivot table; macro level desirable.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Well organised with strength in prioritising.
- Flexible attitude to achieve results.
- Calm under pressure.
