An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably experienced individual to join the team at MDHS to fulfil an important role as a Consumer and Community Engagement Partner. This role will oversee, and be responsible for the implementation and evaluation of the Health in Partnership Program.

**Consumer and Community Engagement Partner**

**Permanent Full Time - 80 hours per fortnight**
- Classification_: Clinical Nurse Consultant B - ZJ4 or Equivalent_
- Award_: _Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024 _**OR**_ Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2021 - 2025 _**OR**_ Victorian Public Health Sector (Medical Scientists, Pharmacists & Psychologists) Enterprise Agreement 2017 - 2021_

An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably experienced individual to join the team at MDHS to fulfil an important role as a Consumer and Community Engagement Partner. This role will oversee, and be responsible for the implementation and evaluation of the Health in Partnership Program.

**KEY SELECTION CRITERIA**

**_ Essential_**

**Qualifications**:

- Registered Nurse, Allied Health Professional or Psychologist with AHPRA or
- Health professional or administrator

**Technical/Professional Knowledge and skills**
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
- Experience of working with consumers and consumer advocacy is an advantage
- A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to consumer safety, consumer engagement and person centred care

**_ Desirable_**
- Consumer leadership training
- Post graduate qualifications in Consumer and Community Engagement

- Attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external key stakeholders in order to drive consumer engagement initiatives
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and demonstrated experience in developing reports and governance documents
- Excellent time management skills and demonstrated experience in managing multiple competing priorities while meeting timelines and ensuring high quality work output
- Demonstrates leadership skills and traits characteristic of a senior role, exhibiting behaviours and expectations in line with organisation values
