The Opportunity

**1 Year Fixed-term contract**

Reporting to the GM - Enterprise Applications & Data Platform, you'll work collaboratively with project manager, internal customers and software platform partners to ensure the business requirements are translated into robust and integrated solutions that achieve functionalities, availability, architectural, security, and operational objectives.

You will
- Support the translation of business requirements into HRIS solutions, including solutions approval, communication, traceability and reuse.
- Provide expert advice and functional expertise, guidance and support to management and divisions on the operations of the systems.
- Perform data analysis and mapping to support data migration and integration activities between HRIS and other core systems.
- Perform and take ownership of the system testing, including functional and integration testing.
- Train and co-ordinate the business stakeholders on the user acceptance testing, to ensure the system meets the business requirements.
- Provide end-user support and training on HRIS functionality, processes, and best practices.
- Model business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Identify issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outline business impacts.
- Contribute to the effective development and operation of Aveo's agile project culture, processes, and governance.
- Liaise with the Enterprise Architect and People Systems Team to obtain key inputs and identify solution inter-dependencies
- Define test cases, scenarios, and acceptance criteria of new and changed processes
- Validate defined test criteria and report on findings on behalf of the business
- Implement and test solutions and report on findings
- Build strong and positive relationships with internal customers to ensure that our relationships with internal customers are strong, profitable, and enduring.

What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in IT, HR, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience as an HRIS BA or Functional analyst
- Demonstrated experience delivering in Agile environments and working with Agile methodologies
- Hands-on experience with HRIS implementation lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Strong understanding of HRIS modules, configurations, and functionality.
- Knowledge of HR systems and processes (e.g. performance management, recruitment, etc.)
- Experience as part of an implementation project, preferably of an industry related technology platform
- Strong experience with data cleansing/data integrity practices, SQL-type databases, SQL script and Data Visualisation in Power BI or equivalent.
