In this role you will have the opportunity to deliver superior client service for all assigned work in respect of the new business for Responsible Entity and Wholesale Trustee product lines.

- Where required by the Senior Transaction Manager to lead and manage the negotiation of relevant scheme / trust legal and contractual documentation. This includes being able to take the lead on managing key stakeholders in the onboarding process, notably lawyers, investment managers/key service providers, other relevant internal areas and the client itself.- Work with the Senior Transaction Manager to ensure all tasks allocated to Onboarding / New Business in the MFS Policy Framework and Onboarding SLA are completed as required.- To assist with the establishment of all compliance obligations in Client Connect that are associated with the establishment of all new registered schemes and wholesale trusts appointments.- Where directed, assist with bank account openings, ABN, TFN, GST registration, stamping of scheme / trust documents, instructions to Custody in respect of initial REVS set up, acquisition of new assets. In respect of registered schemes to add new business to the fee calculation spreadsheet.- Ensure all documentation, both physical and electronic is retained in accordance with stated filing protocols.- Organise and manage weekly onboarding calls with clients and maintain project trackers for each scheme.- Prepare board memos for approval of scheme establishment and offer documents and participate in board / DDC meetings.- Update and maintain all relevant onboarding checklists throughout the onboarding process
To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience could include:
- Tertiary qualifications (Business/ Accounting/ Economics or Law)- Have worked in financial services for at least five years with at least two years’ experience in onboarding or similar role- Detailed knowledge of the funds management industry, in either financial assets- Experience in reviewing and negotiating complex legal and contractual documentation- Demonstrable stakeholder and time management skills- Attention to detail and organisational skills
