**About the Role**
The Payroll Manager is responsible for leading our internal team within this division providing exceptional leadership with clear and concise communication to ensure smooth operations are executed across the payroll functions. High level of technical skills and accuracy is required to ensure timely and accurate payroll plus reporting, reflecting trends and their impact on Arcare. The Payroll Manager will also manage end to end payroll processes, month end processes and assist in reconciling reports with Finance. The Payroll Manager will strive to implement efficient and productive systems and will report directly into our Chief Financial Officer
**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience as a Payroll Manager
- Bachelor of Accounting or related degree (desirable)
- Proven experience with using electronic rostering & computerised payroll systems
- Knowledge of related Health Industry Awards and EBA’s
- Proficiency in using Excel & relevant Microsoft Office programs.
- Proficiency in managing payroll tax, superannuation, PAYG tax, Work Cover and other associated payroll functions.
- Proficiency in the costing of rosters & annual payroll budget preparation and identification of monthly budget discrepancies.
- Strong project, problem-solving and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current Police Clearance and Statutory Declaration
