Here at Y Ballarat we provide a wide range of programs and services to over 100 communities across Victoria, including rural and remote communities. We currently have over 700 staff across the state and continue to grow and develop our passionate workforce.
Our children’s services operations include the management of kindergartens, early learning centres and before and after school care. We have over 90 services across Victoria. Our Youth programs have an increased presence in Ballarat through our Youth hubs, workshops and in our ReCranked and JumpStart programs.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintain and update employee records and recruitment databases.
- Support onboarding processes for new hires.
- Collaborate with the People and Culture team on various HR initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and Y Ballarat policies.
**Who We're Looking For**:
- Enthusiastic individuals with a genuine interest in human resources and recruitment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Reliable and committed to contributing to the team's success.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS is a plus.

**Role**:People and Culture Officer (Recruitment)
**Job Type**: Ongoing, full time
**Start Date**: to be negotiated
**Qualification**: relevant Certificate III or above preferred

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a National Police Check and maintain a valid employment Working with Children Check whilst employed in this position.
