**The opportunity**

Due the departure of a successful Product Specialist in our NSW South Region, we are looking for a sales gun with drive and motivation to make the territory their own. This role will cover both Optometry and Ophthalmology. If you have experience successfully selling Medical Devices, Capital Equipment, or something more complex/ technical that takes more than just a few days to sell, then we would like to talk to you. Experience in building long term relationships founded on trust and reliability are absolutely essential in this field.

**Experience required**:
**Desired**
- Understanding of Eye Anatomy
- Understanding of patient workflow within a clinical setting (either optometry or ophthalmology)
- Worked with or regularly use a range of Ophthalmic Diagnostic equipment (i.e. Slit Lamps, OCTs, AutoRefractors, Tonometers etc)
- Sales Experience with closing complex medium to high value sales with an extended decision-making process

**Necessary**
- Possess a current and valid drivers licence
- Willingness to work a flexible work schedule with overnight travel and occasional weekend work to support trade conferences and sponsorship events.
- Relationship Building - Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients
- Motivated to achieve targets and earn uncapped commissions (on top of base wage)
