**About the role and team**

As the Advisor, Protective Security you will support the day-to-day coordination and delivery of contracted security services and assist with the coordination and implementation of major projects. This includes an update to security policies and procedures and implementation of a new security training and preparedness regime to support the delivery of services and meet business outcomes and priorities.

**In this role, you will**:

- Conduct post-incident response to security incidents through to satisfactory resolution, including fact gathering, post-incident reporting, low-level incident, customers and stakeholder liaison and the gathering of lessons learned
- Use a thorough knowledge of operating practices, safety & security policies and procedures to resolve, record and report incidents that occur in or in proximity to infrastructure or people
- Ensure customer or staff complaints arising from security incidents are accurately recorded and any unresolved issues are escalated
- Develop relationships with local security authorities to create collaborative networks and establish critical local response arrangements
- Analyse, assess, and provide feedback on the efficacy of security procedures and security responses within business

**To be successful in this role you will demonstrate**:

**Essential Requirements**
- NSW Security License Class 1E minimum
- Driver's License

**Remuneration**

Service NSW Grade 7/8 salary package starts from $95,136 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
