- My client is a global company and on their North Ryde Laboratory facility they are seeking a Laboratory Admin assistant to work for three departments “Microbiology, Fermentation and Chemistry”.
- Working with an easy going, highly diverse team you will support and manage the workflow including sending out samples, purchase order system, stock ordering and GR invoices
- _Goods Received Invoices_) along with input into internal sample registries and flagging strange results to the relevant people / department.
- The role will report to the Microbiology team leader and up the line to the Scientific Services Manager.

Note: This position is
- **not a Hybrid role, **Monday to Friday flexible on working hours as long 40 hours a week a completed.**Experience**:

- Previously worked in a similar work environment
- Worked with Purchase Ordering systems.
- Worked with accounting software (prefer SharePoint)
- Experience of ordering scientific equipment/stock or similar - _beneficial _

**Duties**:

- Creating PO numbers in the system in preparation of ordering.
- Preparing samples to be sent out for external analysis.
- Ordering materials as requested, and by keeping track of inventories.
- Processing of invoices according to the system, including using SharePoint to communicate with Accounts Payable.
- Updating the materials inventory/ register when new supplies come in.
- Build relationships with representatives of the main suppliers in case of issues.
- Data input from outsource reports into internal sample registries.
- Strange results are flagged to the relevant people (with experience).
- Updating of databases with historical information (files, pictures, numbers, etc.)
