**Your role**

Our Corporate Catering team prepare a variety of innovative, on-trend food items to enhance the experience of our clients. Prepared in our very own on-site kitchen, our team, led by an experienced Catering Supervisor, can accommodate a number of clients events, from a formal breakfast, lunch and dinner to canapés for cocktail events and corporate seminars.

As Head Waiter in our Corporate Catering Team, you will:

- Provide and oversee the provision of high level wait service for all boardroom bookings and events;
- Provide exceptional customer service for our clients;
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the client floor
- Monitor stock levels of all consumables and service items in the kitchen and boardrooms. Place orders with suppliers, receiving and checking the content of deliveries;
- Train and manage agency staff when required;
- Assist the team by performing basic administration tasks**;**:

- Liaise with reception to determine catering requirements for meetings and events, utilise the online booking system to note details of costs and catering requirements to ensure accurate record keeping, and**;**:

- Guide and manage in maintaining staff kitchen areas and assist when required.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

**About you**

You will have:

- Excellent presentation and strong communication skills;
- The ability to be able to work effectively as part of a team;
- Ability to guide and direct a team,
- Initiative and the ability to prioritise and multitask;
- The ability to work well under pressure;
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification; and
- Previous barista experience and knowledge of local and international food and wine varieties is highly desired.
