Our team is growing, and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of **HSEQ Advisor** to be based in an **ISS capital city office**, employed on a **Full-Time** basis.

You will manage the implementation of HSEQ management system and drive our site’s safety culture and play a key role in successfully implementing safe work practices on site. In this role, you will ensure that all operational and regulatory compliance needs are met, and maintain accreditation to ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 in contract as well as maintain accreditation to the Federal Safety Certification (FSC) program.

The role will require working from an ISS or client office with travel to clients’ sites across Australia. Flexible work arrangements will be considered.

**Here is a snapshot of what you will do**:

- Assist with and drive the development and implementation of the HSEQ Management Plan.
- Be the primary point of contact for all health, safety, environment, and quality queries.
- Conduct and assist with incident investigations.
- Analyze unsafe observations and take steps to avoid recurrence.
- Assist in compiling and preparing monthly performance reviews.
- Conduct safety trainings.
- Conduct internal and external inspections and audits and provide timely recommendations.
- Monitor appropriate recording and reporting when recordable & notifiable events occur to ISS, Client, and Federal Safety Certification body.
- Provide in-contract frontline WHS and Environmental support to ISS leaders and staff across multiple sites nationally.
- Actively participate in field inspections, including the client's critical sites.

**What will you possess to be successful**:
**Required Qualifications**:

- OHS/WHS
- Self-Insurance experience (applicable in NSW, WA, and SA)
- Accredited Safety Lead Auditor certification
- Current Investigations Techniques training

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Experience as a HSEQ professional in telecommunication or relevant industry is advantageous.
