As a Fitness Equipment Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in our service team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of fitness equipment. This dynamic position offers an exciting opportunity to work in diverse commercial settings and contribute to the overall success of our clients' fitness operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on various fitness equipment, including treadmills, elliptical machines, weight machines, and cardio equipment.
- Respond promptly to service calls, address technical issues, and ensure mínimal downtime for clients.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and minimise the risk of breakdowns.
- Installation and set up of gym equipment.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and equipment models to continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge.

**Requirements**:

- General technical aptitude and understanding of electrical/mechanical systems is preferred.
- Experience in servicing fitness equipment, preferably in a commercial setting would be highly regarded.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid full driver's license.
- Flexibility to travel to remote area installation and servicing jobs.
- Physical fitness, with the capability to lift heavy equipment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Electrical Certification / Restricted Electrical Licence highly regarded.
- Previous experience in customer-facing technician roles.
