**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The principal purpose of this position is to support the achievement of NSW Ambulance strategic goals through provision of a robust service planning function. This includes managing a team of service planners and ensuring regulatory processes are compliant with relevant statutory requirements while managing deliverables that are effective, efficient and timely to successfully deliver strategic service planning for NSW Ambulance.

**ABOUT YOU**

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

- Tertiary qualifications in health or human service related discipline or extensive experience in health care delivery along with detailed knowledge of, and experience in, health planning.
- Superior level of effective communication skills including interpersonal, oral and written skills with the ability to persuade and influence others across a wide spectrum of stakeholders.
- Leadership experience and management skills.
- Highly developed analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated experience in projects involving a diverse range of clinical and community stakeholders.
- A sound and up-to-date understanding of state-wide directions in health services policy, planning, organisation, funding and delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to produce effective complex reports, business cases and submissions in a timely manner.
- Experience of process improvement, project management and change management within service delivery.
