**About the role**
This is a **permanent, part-time** position working **14 hours** per week and will be based at **Nowra Library.**

This is a designated Aboriginal position as authorised by Shoalhaven City Council’s EEO Management Plan and Aboriginal Employment Strategy in accordance with Part 9A of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).

**Duties**
Reporting directly to the Outreach & Digital Services Manager, the focus of this position is to:

- To assist in the prompt, courteous and efficient provision of services to library customers.
- To assist in the operations of the Outreach and Digital Resources Team including creation of marketing and promotional materials using a range of online tools and resources.
- To assist with planning and delivering of events in the libraries.

**Skills & Experience**
In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

- Higher School Certificate or equivalent
- Class C Driver’s Licence
- Current NSW Working with Children’s Check
- This position is a designated Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander position - validated proof of aboriginality must be sighted / provided.
- Demonstrated strong connection to the Aboriginal communities within the Shoalhaven Local Government Area
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship
