**About the role**
This is a **permanent full-time** position, working **35 hours per week** (Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm) and is based at the **Ulladulla Civic Centre **.

**Duties**
Reporting directly to the Ulladulla Customer & Community Resources Manager, the focus of this position is to:

- Provide a high standard of customer service to the customers of the Ulladulla Civic Centre and other Shoalhaven Library branches, as required.
- Assists customers with centre bookings, information enquiries, access to Council services and facilities and public access technology and equipment
- Process financial transactions as required using Point of Sale (POS) System
- Support continuous improvement by identifying improvements to processes and practices and supporting change.
- Positively impact on the external image and perception of Council with regards to customer service and workplace behaviour.

**Skills & Experience**
In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

- HSC or equivalent
- Previous experience in a service based environment and ability to demonstrate customer service values
- Demonstrated effective time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to balance competing workloads and deliver within deadlines.
- Experience in cash handling
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (Visa)
