**About Us**

Bay Building Services is a market leader when it comes to insurance building in Australia. Operating nationally, for 35+ years we have specialised in repairs to domestic and commercial properties damaged through insurable events such as fire, storm, flood, impact and malicious damage.

**About the Role**

The position reports directly to the National Manager | WHSEQ and will work closely with the local site supervisors, contractors and key project stakeholders, to ensure Bay Building Services & Linx Restoration can provide and maintain a safe working environment.

**Key Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all trades are inducted to the project
- Responsible for managing on site safety related documentation such as WHS Plan, SWMS, toolbox talks, inspections, incident notifications etc.
- Conduct regular inspections of the site to ensure safe systems of work are in place.
- Provide regular reports which outline the progress of the job and any safety related issues or items resolved.
- Provide first aid if required
- General site housekeeping may be required

**Capabilities and Behaviours**
- Ability to provide leadership and coach others
- Able to work independently and also collaboratively as a part of a team in a dynamic environment
- Sound written and oral communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident in decision making

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Cert IV in Health and Safety as a minimum
- Strong knowledge of relevant Safety legislation
- Knowledge of Construction methodology is highly desirable
- First aid level 2
- White card
- Driver’s licence
