**Your new role awaits **

The State Manager - Engineering Solutions (NSW & ACT) will be an engaging and inspiring leader, with a strong focus on driving profitable revenue growth for temporary works solutions, and work closely with your sales and Project Management teams, to drive market awareness through our customer base. Your purpose will be to implement strategic sales plans, and to maximise product utilisation and revenue, ensuring that risk management and Coates’ Team25 strategy is front of mind.

**A typical day will include**:

- Lead our uncompromising Safety-First culture throughout the organisation and customer relationships.
- Leading a State based sales team as well as a Project Management team (2 direct, 20 indirect), ensuring strong leadership to maximise engagement and sales performance
- In-conjunction with Sales team and Category Managers, review product portfolio performance, develop and implement effective strategic plans aimed at maximising revenue
- Monito market trends, emerging opportunities and competitor profiling to enhance and further grow solutions offering
- Work closely with key operational hubs ensuring our value “customer focussed” is delivered above expectations

**What you’ll bring to the role**
- Experience in temporary works solution-based selling
- Knowledge and experience in the relevant customers, products, and markets you will be exposed to
- An engaging leadership style, with demonstrated experience leading mid to large teams
- A high degree of commercial acumen
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Presentation skills and ability to deliver presentations to external parties
- Analytical skills to identify performance areas and gaps
- Strong sales capability including negotiation skills
