Ao7 - Principal Data Analyst

Hudson is seeking a Principal Data Analyst to join the Program Design and Delivery team for a large organisation. You will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing investment programs that address the needs of our target populations. Working closely with the Director and team manager, you will provide strategic recommendations supported by data analysis and evidence, contributing to the success of our initiatives.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Identify and analyze information from various sources to provide authoritative advice on complex client, stakeholder, and community demands and outcomes.
- Develop and implement tools and systems using advanced data analytics techniques to assess program design, implementation, and effectiveness.
- Monitor program performance and expenditure to ensure value for money and alignment with government priorities and departmental objectives.
- Design and generate system-level reports to inform funding proposals, business cases, and procurement strategies.
- Prepare written materials, including correspondence and briefing papers, to support advice to government and other stakeholders.
- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders across government and human services networks.
- Contribute to a professional work environment focused on ethical behavior, staff well-being, and continuous improvement.
- Undertake tasks assigned by the Director and/or manager to support innovation and efficient delivery.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced team members.

- Advanced proficiency in complex data analysis using business intelligence software (e.g., Power BI). Demonstrated ability to prepare, analyze, interpret, and present data to various audiences, including senior management and program staff.
