Adelaide CBD, Australia Power Systems Consultants Full time

The Australian Operational Technologies team supports PSC Clients in integrating, upgrading, modelling, and commissioning EMS/SCADA/ADMS systems. These are critical infrastructure projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing engineering considerations. The Junior Consultant will work within the Operational Technologies team to support PSC clients by providing technical support for these projects. Working with the Operational Technologies team, the Junior Consultant will gain valuable knowledge and experience relating to all aspects of power systems with a specific focus on DMS/SCADA systems in this role.

**Responsibilities**

The Junior Consultant will conduct a variety of assignments under the supervision of Senior or Principal Consultants. These include:

- Prepare, review, and edit technical documentation.
- Support ADMS modelling and data migration activities (experience with CYME would be beneficial).
- Participate in technical reviews of ADMS/SCADA systems under the direction of senior and principal consultants on the team and/or the client.
- Perform system integration activities.
- Complete projects assigned to the employee, including the management of schedule and quality.
- Manage client expectations through regular communications and responsiveness.
- Global interaction with PSC colleagues to coordinate and execute Operational Technologies projects.
- Assist with preparing tender submissions and proposals.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree / tertiary qualification(s) in electrical, control systems or similar engineering discipline
- At least 1 year of engineering experience (internship qualifies). It would be a benefit if the experience is associated with power systems.
- Eligibility to become a registered professional engineer or Chartered Engineer (Desirable)
- Experience of working in team environments (experience in non-professional capacity welcomed)
