**The Position**

Position Title: Finance Officer - Accounts Payable
Classification: HS1
Salary per fortnight (exc. super): $2,247.80
Hours per fortnight: 80 with an ADO every 4 weeks
Employment Status: Ongoing Full Time
Other requirements: COVID-19 Vaccination

**Role Description**

The position will be required to be highly organised, detail oriented, and have a sense of urgency to complete tasks promptly but accurately. The Finance Officer - Accounts Payable will have a flexible outlook and be able to take care of frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The position requires strong communication, customer service and social skills with all departments within Bendigo Health and suppliers; and requires initiative and creative flair to offer innovative solutions to improve the Accounts Payable function.

**The Team**

The Finance and Resources Division is responsible for financial functions, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring and analysis, together with our procurement, materials management and facilities management functions. The division also includes Health Information Services with key roles in medical record management, clinical documentation, freedom of information, and external data reporting requirements. These are essential non-clinical services providing high-quality support, advice, monitoring and compliance functions. The team are focussed on delivering the strategic vision within their responsibilities and on assisting the organisation operationally.
