Materials handling company Starlluf Cranes Pty Ltd T/A Cranetec specializing in overhead cranes and lifting equipment has many large organizational customers. Due to rapid growth of business, we are seeking a Service Fitter with solid experience and good mechanical aptitude for our Sydney Branch.
Job Summary
As a Service Fitter your roles will include but not limited to:
Examining specifications and preparing materials and equipment for installations
Responsible for servicing of cranes including carry out recommended corrective work in a professional and tradesman like manner.
Carrying out project and preventative maintenance work by diagnosing faults and repairing faulty mechanical components
To communicate with clients in a professional manner.
Ensure work is performed, within agreed times and to an acceptable standard.
Ensuring all work complies with current Australian and State standards.
To comply with Cranetec Safety Standards as a minimum.
To work within Cranetec QA procedures and complete required documentation.
Be accountable for material, tools and equipment supplied and provided by Cranetec.
Complete paperwork accurately and fully to maintain records and systems, as necessary.
Requirement:
- Relevant trade certificate and/or equivalent qualification, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Certificate III in Engineering ‐ Mechanical Trade preferred
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in same or similar position within the last 5 years
- Industrial maintenance repair and service experience
- Experience in troubleshooting and fault finding and servicing of Overhead cranes.
- The ability to read drawings
- Able to produce trade papers
- Good communication skills and presentation
- Working at Heights certificate
- A positive and self-motivated attitude
- Sound problem-solving skills
- Understand electrical design and fault finding
- Understanding of OH&S
- Current driver's license
- Be well organised and show effective time management skills
- Be safety conscious and the ability to promote a safe environment
Our Offer:
Annual guaranteed base salary range will be $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 AUD /year without any variable monetary components excluding superannuation. The position will be full-time with 40 hours per week.
Providing company car, fuel, e-toll, work phone.
This role has lot of potential and you will have great opportunity to grow within the company.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
