**Position: Market Research Analyst**

MBL Food & Packaging Limited in Canning Vale, WA is a leading wholesale distributor, specialising in servicing the Food Service, Butchery, Bakery & Retail sectors in Western Australia.

We currently seek to appoint an ambitious and driven new Market Research Analyst in a full-time position, with experience in the above sectors. Being passionate about identifying and analysing markets, developing advertising and marketing strategies, and reporting to Sales Manager in relation to business opportunities suitable for growth.

This position reports to the Sales Manager - Food Service, Butchery, Bakery & Retail sectors.

**Key responsibilities of this position are as follows**:

- Working closely with Sales Manager to device and execute advertising campaigns in line with sales objectives;
- Collate, analyse, and report on data pertaining to current and evolving consumer behaviour, and competitors’ strategies to ensure the business remains relevant and competitive within the market;
- Researching, reporting and recommending on consumer preferences, business conditions, and other factors to assess potential sales growth;
- Researching, reporting and recommending on new advertising mediums to reach and retain customers that will enable execution of the business growth strategy;
- Researching reporting and recommending on potential demand and market characteristics for new goods and services;
- Managing all advertising campaigns across all media in accordance with the budgets allocated;
- Aligning business’ marketing and advertising efforts with business’ vision and identity to foster consumer awareness;
- Undertaking regular analysis of effectiveness of advertising strategies and reporting to Sales Manager and the Board.
- At least 5 years’ work experience in a similar capacity
- Works well independently
- Self-motivated
- Outstanding organizational and research skills
- Solid organizational skills and detail-orientated
- Analytical thinker with strong theoretical and research proficiencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
