Currently resourcing for an iconic heavy industrial Australian manufacturer and globally recognised brand, and technology leader in their industry.

Embarking on a major capital development project of NSW State Significant status, based in Pt Kembla, NSW.

We are seeking an experienced Project Planner / Scheduler with heavy industrial engineering & construction project delivery experience, to join the owners project delivery team. Expected duration of 3 to 4yrs.

**Role**

**Planner / Scheduler**
The capital component of the project will be delivered by a multi-disciplined team under the leadership of the Project Manager and Lead Area Managers. The Project Planner / Schedule will report directly to the Project Controls Manager.

You will provide planning and scheduling services across the entire scope of the project. Prepare detailed schedules for each package of work within the scope of the project, in accordance with company standards and processes, utilising best practice methodology and software (Primavera P6/OPC).

Work with the Lead Planner/Scheduler to develop and manage the overall project master schedule consistent with the project execution strategy.

Reporting on the critical path for the project schedule and provide input into schedule ranging analyses.

Key to the success of this role is active communication with other team members and your ability to manage detail across broad project aspects and a variety of engineering disciplines.

Requirements;
- Degree qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of scheduling experience in major project development and execution in heavy industry or mining
